A+E Global Media, fresh of of its corporate rebrand that de-emphasizes its pay-TV channels, has promoted Matthew Glotzer to executive VP and head of corporate strategy and development.
In his new role Glotzer will be tasked with “shaping the company’s strategic direction, leading investment initiatives, identifying new avenues for organic growth,” all critical areas as the company seeks to find new revenue sources amid the changing media environment.
Glotzer, who joined A+E in 2020 and worked as an executive in content sales, will report to A+E CFO David Bank.
“Matt’s deep industry expertise and strategic insight have been major catalysts to A+E’s growth,” said Bank in a statement. “Since joining the Company, he has been instrumental in expanding our global business and served as a key partner for Corporate Development, the group that he will now lead, and I’m thrilled to have him in this role.”
